My Interview with Katie Ford on Modern Day Slavery
This is the first of a series of interviews I will be doing with individuals that are making significant changes in the world in the face of great uncertainty. My hope is that it will inspire all of us to shift our relationship with the unknown and embrace what is possible in our lives.
A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of interviewing Katie Ford, the former CEO of Ford Models and the founder of the Katie Ford Foundation, regarding slavery in the world today. I was surprised to learn that there are over 27 million slaves all over the world, including some in the United States. Through the Katie Ford Foundation, Katie partners with on the ground organizations that create long-term, systemic changes to end slavery in the countries where they work and to save lives by freeing people who are held in slavery.
