Positive Thinking Doesn’t Always Work

Positive thinking can be extremely beneficial to achieving our goals and finding more joy in our lives. However, many of us find it difficult to stick with positive thinking when something unexpected happens or things don’t work out as we planned, which can leave us feeling afraid and negative.  Some of us try to suppress our negative thoughts and carry on and others give in to the fear and start to believe that things will not work out and they will no longer be able achieve their goals. Either way, instead of taking a more positive view of our lives, we project our worst fears into the future about our jobs, our relationships, our children or our health.

Most of us would benefit from another mindset that gives us hope and resilience that we can easily hold during difficult times.

Listen to Episode 10 of my podcast, 10 Minutes to Less Suffering, to learn a mindset to relieve your stress and worry and be more hopeful about your future.  With this practice you will be more likely to start a business, change your job, start a new career, fall in love, or feel positive about your child’s future.  You’ll be more likely to live with more ease and grace when times get tough.

Over time, with the practice of this mindset, you might just become a sustainable positive thinker after all!
